…TRAVEL. Hands down. No excuses. Just go. [Travel] – Not for the sake of being a tourist, but to discover the beauty of life — to remember that [you are] not complete… Traveling will change you like little else can. It will put you in places that will force you to care for issues that are bigger than you. You will begin to understand that the world is both very large and very small.

Tomorrow I’m heading off on a new adventure and I couldn’t be more excited! I’ll be spending the next 10 days in Northern Africa, Morocco to be more specific. I’ll spend the first three days in Marrakech, and the rest of my time there in the Atlas Mountains. It is safe to say that this will be my most exotic travel to date, and for that reason I am truly thrilled. Experiencing new places, cultures and people is easily one of my very favourite things.
The quotation above is from an article I read recently that really captures the beauty and value of travel, of seeing the world and experiencing as much of it’s beauty as you can, (click here to read it. Seriously. Read it.)
I am so grateful for the incredible privilege of being able to explore little pieces of this amazing world we live in, expand my horizons, seek inspiration and be reminded that, as the quote above says, I am not complete.
The blog will be on a mini hiatus for the duration of my trip. I think it is important to unplug every now and then and really be where you are without any distractions. I’ll be back soon though, with lots of photos and amazing inspiration to share from my journey.
’til soon… xo
