November is kind of a blah month. Daylight savings means it gets dark at like 4pm (ew), it starts getting cold, but there’s no snow yet (more ew), and it can generally be kind of depressing. It’s nearly the end of the month and December will bring all the craziness of the holidays, so I’d like to take a minute to reflect upon some of the lovely things that November held for me…
One weekend of warmth and sunshine
A book that found me just when I really needed it… I read The Shack by William P. Young; a book that has been recommended to me more than once in the last few years, but I never picked up until the other day. The timing… well, it was simply meant to be.
A Friday evening trip to Ripley’s Aquarium with three amazing friends.
A stock pile of vintage magazines from the 40’s, 50’s & 60’s that I discovered in my dad’s basement… Basically, this felt like winning the lottery to me. No, seriously. They’re amazing.
My face and bio in a store window… a store that sells my home accessories…
which is kind of just too amazing for words :)
Thanks November, xo
